slow motion
Slow motion —- is there a way to make selected parts of my vegas project go in slow motion …..I have used vegas for a while (off and on) but I have never stumbled accross a slow motion function …. or will I need a plugin for slow motion features?…. I think I have vegas 4.0….. please help!

hold the Ctrl key while you drag the end of the clip longer …for fast motion hold Ctrl key and make the clip shorter ( drag it shorter) ..

For variable speed changes, investigate the Velocity Envelope.

use a velocity envelope (right click-“envelope>velocity”) you can add points at specific places to slo down or speed up your clip, you can specify how slow or how fast you want it to go. Using the “squiggly” is fine but not as precise as an envelope.
