I’d like to add video clips to the Google video site. Here is what they want:

“The fastest way to get your videos into Google Video is to submit each file in MPEG4 format with MP3 audio or MPEG2 with MP3.

Here are our preferred video specs:
NTSC (4:3) size and framerate, deinterlaced
    Video Codec: MPEG2 or MPEG4 (MPEG4 preferred)
Video Bitrate: at least 260Kbps (750kbps preferred)
    Audio Codec: MP3 vbr
Audio Bitrate: at least 70Kbps (128 Kbps preferred) ”

I don’t see any options in Vegas 4 to add MP3 audio under the MPEG2 custom rendering options or MPEG4 custom option? I use the mpeg4 rendering option under quicktime but there is no mp3 custom option.

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Render the video and audio separately. Just make sure that you create a region around you project and then render that region to mpeg2 and mp3.

The video and audio must be EXACTLY the same length in order to sync properly… that is why I always create a region around the project I am about to render so that I will always know the exact render length.

Then I guess I upload both the video and audio file? Weird set up they have at Google.

    Thank you.
