I’m sure this is a basic technique for many of you out there. Although I’ve had Vegas 3.0 for a few years I usually edit with Canopus RT. I now need to produce a video that has two full frame videos on the screen next to each other with a black border on the top and bottom.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’ve been looking in the manual, but haven’t found a way to accomplish this.

    Thanks,
    Molinete

You put the videos on their own track and resize them with Track Motion.

    Gary,
Thanks very much. I’d forgotten about track motion. I set it up as you described and it’s perfect. Next challenge is setting up to an external monitor.
