    When starting a new project, I create a new folder and capture all raw footage into it. I then store my veg, sfx, etc files in subfolders within this project folder.

    The problem is when I complete the project and deliver the final product to the customer, how do I backup just those files actually used in the project? Is there an automated utility that I

    One way is to do a File – Save As, save to a new folder, and specify the “copy and trim” option.

    One note of caution: You should always keep your .veg files, or at least copies of them, in a seperate place than your media, preferably on a different physical device.

    This way you can always recapture your video to recreate your project as long as you have the tapes available.
