Sonic Foundry is the name of the company that originally developed Vegas, Sound Forge, Acid, etc.
They sold the company to Sony a little over a year ago. They are still in business, just developing different products.Mike

June 19, 2005 at 11:29 pmColor correction in V4 is quite powerful. It just takes a little know-how to achieve what you are after. There are several good tutorials on the net about the subject. Try doing a search on “color correction vegas”.

June 20, 2005 at 1:35 amthanks ted, i was just trying to update my version of what I thought was vegas 4a to 4e. is vegas movie studio + dvd different from vegas ? i have vegas movie studio + dvd. when i tried to update to 4e the program asked me to register. i put in my serial # for product registration but said it was incorrect. i checked it 2 times. jeez what am i missing here? thanks john

June 20, 2005 at 1:56 ami just figured out that hey,i don’t own vegas! i thought because the cover said vegas movie studio and dvd that i was using the actual vegas. da on me! (ic ic le icicle says.) well are there any good deals out their? thanks, clueless, but, somehow i’ll get there.
