I’m using the Quake script to make a logo vibrate along with the sound of a revving engine. Since there are multiple revs, I need the logo to vibrate, slow down or stop, vibrate again, etc. The first section works great (viewed with RAM render) but I can’t create other sections because I get a “Class already exists” message. Is there a way to make this happen?
(I tried taking a section of the video timeline into a separate track but I still get the same message)

    thanks

Yes. Save the project, exit Vegas, Restart Vegas, load the project, run Quake again. Repeat.

The problem is that Quake is a DLL file and some underlying thing in the scripting changed that causes this problem. Many have been updated to work around this problem such as Excalibur, Veggie Toolkit, Ultimate S, etc… Others, such as Quake, have not.

Sounds like a pain, but hey, that’s why they’re called workarounds, eh?

    thanks for the tip!
