  • Error during rendering as an mpg

Every time I try to render my video to mpeg-2 format for a dvd I get an error somewhere in during the render and I have to exit the program. I’ve tried shutting down everything but vegas and the system resources and that does nothing. I tried different versions and that does nothing. It worked fine when I rendered during the PTT, but when I try to save it as an mpeg it just screws up. Anyone know why this is? Something with my registry maybe?

There is a known issue with MPEG2 renders with V5.0d and V6.0x. This may not be your problem but the issue affects MPEG2 DVD template (A/V) renders using CBR.

Have you tried increasing your virtual memory?

No, I haven’t. I have the Windows setting for it. By how much do I increase it? I have 768mb ddr ram right now.
