  • Track Audio Recording at very low level!

I’m recording directly onto the Audio Track. But it is barely registering the input! (Mic. or Mini Disc!) I had this problem when I first setup my system. But it was resolved. From what I recall, it was a setting of the computer itself.

But since I installed Vegas 5 the problem is back! I tried some of the Audio settings with no luck! Is there a particular setting that I should be adjusting?

It’s way too low to just Normalize! When I do I get major Hiss.

    Thanks!

In the standard Windows “volume control” app, go to OPtions – Properties – Recording. Make sure that the necessary inputs are selected. After doing that, make sure the record volumes are up for the desired channels. If you’re using something other than the Windows volume controller, the settings will be similar. HTH.

Yes, I had already tried all the Windows Settings. I believe it
