  I HAVE AN AUDIO QUESTION. . .

  As a Radio producer, I feel rather out of place among all of you Video freaks – but nevertheless, I really like Vegas – and I WAS using Vegas Audio for many years.

  Now I have upgraded to Vegas 5 – and SoundForge 7

  My problem is probably so simple and dumb – but I don’t know the answer, so I hope you’ll be willing to help. . .

  With my new gear – I got “Accustic Mirror” – which I ignored for quite a while – then I finally downloaded the “Impulses” that are supposed to make it work.

  The only trouble is – I don’t know where to put them. The Impules just put themselves into a folder on my desk top, when I unzipped them – and now I’m not sure where I should put them. Do they go into “Shared Plugins”? Or what? What should be the correct file pathway? I’m pretty sure they have to go somewhere in my Sonic Foundry or Sony files – but I’m not sure where.

  Place them in the c:Program FilesSonyShared Plug-insAudio folder.

  You can put them in any folder you want. I created a folder at c:program filessonyimpulses

  When you open acoustic mirror next time, you just navigate to this folder to choose what you want to use.

  BTW – great radio in Taiwan – check out our station – http://www.icrt.com.tw – don’t worry – it’s English (mostly!)
