Can anybody suggest a descent Ken Burns style pan and scan plug-in for AE on Windows? I was psyched to test out the free pan and scan plug in from Noise Industries, until I discovered that it required the FxFactory software which will only run on a Mac. (Why couldn’t they be more upfront about it being Mac only) But anyway, can anybody suggest a similar pan and scan type plug-in for AE that will work for Windows. Preferably free if there’s one out there.

There might be an automated way to apply a handful of pre-made (by you) Anchor Point/Scale transforms saved as presets to a lot of images … which I’m assuming is your problem. Maybe aenhancers.com has such a script.

But if you want to select a bunch of images and hit a button, that sort of thing is really the domain of home video apps such as iMovie or Windows Movie Maker. Or the slideshow feature on a DVD Authoring app.

You could also Google “Ken Burns”, “video” and “windows”. Check the Wikipedia entry there, and you may also find some downloads down the list.
