  • Exporting path SWF’s that include CS3 Puppet animations

    Hi all!

Wondering if some of you might have run into this same question since the release of the ‘Puppet pin’ tool in AE CS3. Loving this new tool, I’ve attempted to animate an image for use in a Flash webpage using puppet animation.

I am working with an Illustrator AI file (Which exports to SWF format no problem) but when I animate with the puppet tool, the movements are not exported to the swf file. I am seeking to only use paths. Is there a way to map the movements of the puppet animation to commands that SWF understands?

While we’re on that note, what does a path based SWF understand? Basic transform properties, I know, but will it accept any distort options?

    Thank you!

No brilliant ideas, huh? I know, it’s a daunting one…
