    hello.

the file i started working on is an image, which i animated using the zoom 2d spin effect. when i tried to export it as a video and opened the file, it shows up to be blank. i tried using different extensions – avi, mpeg-4, quicktime movie, etc but none of them seem to work.

i’m new to using after effects, so i’m not sure what i’m doing wrong.

Are you using file/export or the render queue? You should almost always use the render queue except in rare situations. If you are using the render queue, what are your output settings?

I’m using “add to render queue.” I tried a bunch of different settings – animated gif, quicktime movie, etc but none of them work.
