I’m BACK on this forum. A few months ago I had the same crashing problem. The program plays fine, but ANYTIME I hit stop/spacebar; an exception error or two pops up. It was running fine for months. I thought I had the problem licked and it had to do with playing files off an SATA drive.

But now my tests show this happens on a NEW project 95% of the time when every folder is set to my C: Drive – a 7200 IDE 80GB…an only a lowly audio track(s)

Here’s the cryptic message….looks like an XP Kernel thing…..great :[

The 95% is there bec I MIGHT get the program to not crash if I reboot like 10 times and start vegas again 20 times.

1.2 Ghz AMD, 512 MB Ram, 80 GB Seagate IDE’s…
