  • Problem exporting tracking data to AE from Mocha

Posted by Ignacio Astorga on December 17, 2008 at 1:29 am

I was performing the Perspective Corner Effect tutorial (Mocha). At the end of it, when I have to export the tracking data, AE gives me the next message error:

After Effects error: clipboard format not valid – we cant find Pin Corner effect (line 9, close to column 2)

…or something like that (My AE version is in spanish. That`s why I write so badly)

    What could be happening?

I was searching in google, creativecow forums, faqs, and I cant find any related.

    System specs:
    WinXP SP2
    AE CS3
    Mocha V1

My guess is the Pin Corner effect on your machine is in Spanish.
Try the following, instead of pasting in AE, paste the data on a notepad, and edit it so the name of the Corner Pin effect will match the Spanish name.
In case that doesn’t help, try posting that question in the Imagineer System forum.
