  Non-square vs square pixels

  Hi guys!

  Sorry, I am new to all this…

  I have captured HDV video from a Canon HV20 (tape) into Final Cut Express, and I would like to import a clip in particleIllusion, but I believe the clip is 1440×1080 anamorphic (HDV).

  My question is, should I set the stage size to 1440×1080 or 1920×1080 in pI3 ?

  And then, when I will save, should I set Quicktime to export at 1440×1080 to bring the clip back into FCE ?

  Confused!
