• Boris FX Particle Illusion

  v3.04 Won’t Start – Windows 7 64bit

  After installing a new hard drive and downloading the 3.04 windows version for a 64bit Windows 7 computer, Particle Illusions won’t start.

  I already tried resetting the software, tried in software render mode…nothing works.

  Does anything happen at all? This may help:

  Right click on ‘My Computer’ and choose Properties. In the Advanced tab/panel, select the “Settings” button in the Performance pane. Choose the “Data Execution Prevention” tab and switch DEP so that it is enabled only for essential Windows programs or add particleIllusion to the exception.
