  Stopped working

  Ok so I’ve had particle Illusion for a few years and had it running on my laptop. But I just got a new PC and installed it onto that, when I tried to use the programme it brought up a message to say Particle Illusion has stopped working and that windows will notify me if there is a solution. So I tried to download the updater in case the programme was too old for new computer but that didnt work either. I’m not sure it successfully installed either because it didn;t ask for an activation code or serial number and I’m not sure what to do. So any help would be great.

  Give this a try.

  Right click on ‘My Computer’ and choose Properties. In the Advanced tab/panel, select the “Settings” button in the Performance pane. Choose the “Data Execution Prevention” tab and switch DEP so that it is enabled only for essential Windows programs or add particleIllusion to the exception.
