  • Tutorial: How to to Add Motion Blur to your 3D Animation in Post Production by Creating 2D Motion Vectors in Maya

I’ve written up a tutorial about adding motion blur to a Maya render by first creating a 2D motion vector sequence and then using it with ReelSmart Motion Blur in post production. I have covered the lm_2DMV method of creating motion vectors as well as the newer Maya 2009 render pass method. It also covers usage of the vector pass in After Effects to generate the motion blur. I hope that it will be a help to others out there!
