  The Incredible Shrinking Output?

  Hi.

  I’ve downloaded the PIllusion SE demo and am having a great time with it. But I have a query.

  When I load an avi file as background, then run an emitter over it and save the animation, the output looks as if the original window has been shrunk down to fit into the bottom left corner, with the remainder of the screen filled with what is obviously vertical and horizontal streaks of the edges of the original image. I import AVIs into iMovie in PAL format, 720X576. Obviously I’m not setting something tight, but what?

  Also, when I play the imported footage, the particles seem to flow jerky, instead of smooth. My eMac has the required specifications to handle PIllusion output, so what else am I doing wrong?

  Think I found out what I was doing wrong. I wasn’t expanding the stage to full size. Presumably that’s why when I rendered at PAL dimensions, it had to fill the extra space with “edge stuff”.
