  small wmv file slow as playback

  Hi again

  I’ve started a new project and imported a small wmv file (1.5Mb) and the playback is really slow (2fps) Plays fine in windows media player

  Any ideas?

  The size of the file isn’t too important. What resolution is it?

  I suggest converting it to AVI or even a JPG image sequence and load that in pIllusion instead — you’ll probably have much better performance.

  If it’s still slow after converting, try checking the “don’t use texture RAM for bg images” option (or uncheck it if checked) on the OpenGL page of Preferences.
