  can’t make a quicktime file

  I’m using the demo versiom for mac. Have a G5 with 1800 mhz of ppower and 2 gigs of r am.

  I pushed the red button, selected quicktime file and I tried all the variations in the dialog box several times but the quictime file created is all black.

  What am I doing wrong, or is this a bug?

  Try a simple test:

  1) Create a 320 x 240 output (make that the stage size in the Project Settings dialog)

  2) Add any particle emitter

  3) Render as QuickTime, and choose “Animation” compressor.

  4) In Output Options dialog, use the default settings (don’t check “save alpha”)
