  • Rendering Size Problems in Particle Illusion 3.0…latest version

Posted by Mark Santella on October 10, 2008 at 12:23 am

I watched the video and believe I am doing everything right, but no matter what size I set I keep getting an output of 720 X 480. I want 1280 X 720 and set that in the project settings each time. Any help would be appreciated. I have the latest version December 2007 3.03. Thanks for the help. Should I reinstall?

    1) maximize pIllusion app window using standard titlebar “maximize” button

    2) Make sure your stage window zoom is set to 100%

    3) make sure your current project’s stage is 1280 x 720 (check the width and height boxes in the project settings dialog). Note that having the default stage size set in Preferences does not ensure that the current project settings match it.

    4) Render

That’s it. pI3 will maximize the stage window size to try and fit your output size. If it can’t fit the size you want (your desktop res isn’t high enough for instance) it will launch pIRender to do the actual render.

Is pIRender being launched? If so, and you’re still having problems, then you’ll want to launch pIRender manually, click the Options button, then turn off hardware acceleration.

    Alan.
