• Boris FX Particle Illusion

  3.07 not responding

  OSX 10.4.11, QT 7.5, MacIntel –

  Did the manual upgrade from 3.05 to 3.07. Particle Illusion freezes everytime on startup. In fact the last time I tried it it froze my entire machine and I had to use the startup button to shut down and restart…

  Any suggestions?

  Sorry for the slow reply. I think deleting the prefs file will help.

  / Library / Preferences / pIllusion3.prefs

  Hi Alan,

  Deleted the prefs but no change. The App is still freezing on startup.

  Any other suggestions?

  Email support at wondertouch dot com please. Deleting prefs usually works (it has for everybody who has had this problem so far).

  It’s the same (?) issue that people running the new 3.0.7 demo are having on 10.5.4 only (don’t know about earlier 10.5 versions).
