Hello, I am stuck. I am developing a graphic to be used in a topdown, 2d game. I produced plenty of renders that are used in this game, but I find myself needing a more advanced formula than the rest here:

I am using Plasma Tendrils 3, with some color adjustments. I need to produce three animations to be used in the game. The graphic acts as a portal, you fly onto the portal, it activates, loops a couple times, then deactivates. So what I need to produce is three files:

    1: Activate. (2 seconds, 10fps)
2: Active loop. Will be looped 10 times. (2 seconds, 10fps)
    3: DeActivate. (2 seconds, 10fps)

Now that you are slightly informed of my motives, heres my real problem. I don’t know how to go about rendering the active loop. I can create an active loop, but how do I go about having the loop merge with active/deactive? I need the activate animation to blend right into the active loop, and the active loop to blend right into the deactivation animation. Please help.
