I have been working on a small project to make the outside of a house look like they spent tons of cash on Christmas lights and was looking for an emitter that I could use as a Christmas Tree Light and have not had much luck. Blinks, different colors etc.

I am using the fully updated PI 3.0.2

Do you have any ideas on how to make a string of Christmas lights?

    Thanks

I hate to see such a simple question go unanswered.

I did this with just the “Stage Lights” emitter from the “Default” library.

Altering the size and color palette and even the particle shape helps too.

But that is a fine starting point since it’s a “line” emitter. Try using a few different versions with different color schemes, shapes, etc. and expand from there.

    I hope that helps.

    Peace (and Festive Solstice!)

    Thanks Sockratease

That was just what I needed and should be able to complete this in one evening. I’m new to PI and have not developed a good processing for browsing the emitters and realizing what they do.
Anyway. Thank you for the help and Happy Holidays
