    Hey Guys,
I’m working on a piece that involves a camera flying around a giant map to different locations. Lot’s of Cam Movement.

As I set different keyframes to move my cam from one spot to another, it will do crazy rotations when I don’t tell it to. Sometimes I’ll have IDENTICAL keyframes holding the cam in place, but it will still rotate.

I can change my rotation frame by frame, but the timing of the moves keeps changing, so I’d have to change it MANY MANY times. I don’t get the problem when I remove the POI, but I need the POI as the cam moves so much.

    Thoughts? Comments? Jokes?

Ae has a weird thing that happens when you pass 180 or 360 degree rotations on some axes sometimes. You get around this by parenting your camera to a null. Move the null around and change the orientation of the null to swing your camera around. It’s a fabulous technique to have in your quiver. Moving a null around in 3d space is way easier than moving a camera that has POI active.
