I’m working with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and Particle Illusion 3.0. My job is to add effects to my already edited footage that was exported in Premiere.

    I exported as the following:
    File Type: Microsoft AVI
    Frame Size: 720 x 480
Pixel Aspect Ratio: D1/DV NTSC Widescreen 16:9 (1.2)

As far as I know, PI 3.0 only accepts videos with a pixel aspect ratio of 0.9, therefore, the footage above becomes stretched vertically when imported. So my question is… Can PI 3.0 import videos with a pixel aspect ratio of 1.2 and also export with the same ratio of 1.2?

    or…

Should I export my footage from Premiere with an aspect ratio of 0.9? And if so, what would the new frame size be? I don’t want anything to stretch…

    Please help.

    Thanks,
    Chris Schultz
