  Alpha Channel with AVI or QUICKTIME?

  Is it possible to output with transparent background (particles only) to AVI (uncompressed) or QUICKTIME?

  All I have found in tutorials is to TGA or TIFF – heck I don’t even have an option for MOV (quicktime) when I attempt to output.

  On Windows you need to output to TGA, PNG, or TIF. On the Mac version, you can output a QuickTime movie with alpha channel if you’re using a compressor that supports it (like Animation).

  We’re working on a 3.0.2 update for Windows that will add alpha channel support in AVIs.
