  • Advice for a text reveal?

Posted by Louie Benson on December 8, 2008 at 10:01 pm

I’m doing an intro for a show where doctors talk about medical practices called “Ask Your Doctor: Real MD” and I was looking to reveal the text for “Real MD” in a certain way but I can’t figure out what will be good, and I don’t want to go with just a lens flair or blur. Any thoughts on what I could do or how exactly I could do it?

Hey Louie (that alays sounds cool)
In the effects and presets there are a bunch of text in and out, quick animation effects to apply to your text layer. They are easy and look pretty good for quick.

Thanks for the advice Brian, but I actually decided to use a path to make it look like a doctor is writing it, like a prescription. Now I just need a good “Handwriting” font.
