    Hi,

This may be a dummy question, but is it possible to batch render several projects using pIllusionRender?

I have used pIllusionRender to render single projects, but I haven’t discovered a method of loading several projects at once.

Any help appreciated, as I’d really like to be able to set up several projects to render and go home early. 🙂

I am using Mac OSX 10.4.8 and PI 3.04

Not on OS X. Now that you’ve reminded me that this was never added to the Mac version, and now that I know that somebody actually wants to use this feature (nothing worse than wasting time on a feature nobody will ever use), I can take a look at it.

We’re beta testing 3.0.5 right now, so this is good timing.

    Alan.

I’ve been trying the batch render on Mac OS X using PI3.0.5. It functions fine, except that when I render tiff sequences the alpha channels are not processed as expected. Instead of an alpha for the particles, an alpha channel for the entire frame is produced. The same project in PI render and in PI renders alpha channel for the particles only. Is this a known issue?
