December 4, 2008 at 11:08 pmI’m not really looking for a ripple. I just want a single bend/fold.
Well, to go into a little more detail.
I want to take a solid triangle and fold it in half. The fold does not happen on-screen. Then I’m planning on having it flying around in 3D space.

December 5, 2008 at 1:15 amI’ve been hoping for a puppet tool that works in 3D space ever since the original puppet tool was released. Have made a feature request for it because I feel it would an incredibly powerful tool to have. If anyone else agrees please help make it happen: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
Any chance you could fake this is a 3D effect by using CC page turn on your triangle? That will give you what looks like a dimensional fold, but if the object is rotated on it’s side you will see that it is really flat.
Zaxwerks 3D warp should do exactly what you’re looking for, but it will cost you a little extra money. Not sure if Zax has demos but you may be able to try it out first and see if it does what you need. Good luck!
