• Boris FX Particle Illusion

  il3 files

  Guys,

  I know this is pretty basic but I can’t see il3 projects when I stick them into my Projects folder. I’m running v3.0.1a on Windows and can only see ip3 or ipf files.
  What am I doing wrong?

  il3 files are library files and aren’t loaded through the File menu. Go into the right-hand library window, right-click and choose Load Library. That will bring up the browser to find your il3s. If you have all your il3 files in the EmitterLibraries folder in the particleIllusion directory, they’ll be available under the Quick Load Library option of the right-click menu.
