    Hi there.

I’m trying to make a movie in which people fire and are shot by lasers – how might I go about using ParticleIllusion to add in those effects? So far, I haven’t really had a great experience with PI, and I need some direction.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

There’s an old library you can download here and modify as you like. With these emitters, you can just drop the emitter down at the tip of your gun and change the Emission Angle to line up with your barrel properly. You may have to increase the Velocity to make the blast move faster, and if you want the particles to stop moving and hit someone, you can lower the Life property.

Thanks for that! Now I have something to shoot out of my mother-in-law’s eyes. UJ
