Can someone tell me if the Particle Illusion version in Combustion is the same as the one in Apple’s Motion 2?

Combustion uses a licensed version of the particleIllusion 2.0 engine. Motion uses a particle system that is similar to particleIllusion, but was developed by Apple.

wondertouch has a collection of particle emitters that work inside Motion, using Motion’s own particle system.

The most advanced particle system is still particleIllusion 3.0 standalone.
