PI Kung Fu masters, I need your guidance…
I’m working on a short action film right now. One of the shots I’d like to include is a composition of a huge explosion. The explosion style that I’d like to see is similar to the animated explosions used in Dragon Ball Z, Matrix revolution, and (more exactly) the meteor strike in the opening scene of X-files: Resist or Serve. For a quick verbal illustration, each of the explosions listed above look like a tranlucent dome expanding from the impact point. I can do shockwaves and such in PI and AE but I need the dome to be something super high quality. The rest of the details I’ve got already, including debri, dust, mushroom cloud, trees blowing away, etc.. Any help (from those in the know) will be appreciated. thanks.
P.S.
I’ve got a reasonably high end compute,r so processing power isn’t a problem. The higher the res, the better.gesamtkunstzwerk
