logo effects
I guess I was on the wrong forum and didn’t realize it. Anyways, I’m trying to change the word “ILLUSION” in the logo effect emitter. How do I create a jpeg text file with no background like it appears in the change shape function?
I like to use Adobe Photo Deluxe 2 because of it’s simplicity. I have also tried to use MS Publisher and change it to a jpeg file but the entire background became part of the effect. I did change the background color but the word was not filled in. Any help would be greatly appreciated! -

You can either make an image that’s black and white, so that the black parts are transparent, or you can make an image that’s in color, but with an alpha channel – so that the BG is automatically cut out.
In the help files (Help > Help Topics), Tutorial #3 under the section “Change Shape Page” and the subheadings: “Shape size options,” “Shape Type options” and “Transparency options explain how to import the shape and deal with the different options very clearly. It’s not a big read, and should be easy to understand. Take a look at that, and if you still have trouble let me know, and I’ll be glad to assist you further.
