Just wondered if anyone can tell me if I am doing a particular step wrong. I have read the tutorial on getting an emitter to go around an object and was successful when I imported a single image. The problem comes in is when I import a sequence of targa images that were rendered alpha channel and I place the transparency on the top layer in PI accordingly. I still cannot see the emitter when it is supposed to go behind the images. Am I missing a crucial step when I use targa images as opposed to one still image?

The process shouldn’t be any different whether you have a still or a sequence of stills. pI should recognize the alpha channel automatically. Check the Transparency settings of the layer to make sure the alpha information is coming into pI, or perhaps you turned off transparency by mistake (which happens to me all the time, and I don’t notice, then spend 10 minute tearing my hair out wondering what’s going on.)
