For years, our PEG (Educational Access Channel) has been running via Leightronix Nexus (network managed video system controller). I’ve been told (by Leightronix) that this system has been discontinued for a few years and if repairs are needed, parts are unavailable.
Their current solution for my needs is the UltraNexus-HD series. the various models run from $8-10 Thousand. Is anyone else using this product or are there other options?
We send our signal out to the cable companies via modulators that they provide. The channel they offer us to use is, and will always be an SD channel. HD channels will not be provided for PEG use.
