  DVD Recorder Upscaling SR-HD2500US x DR430

  Hi guys.

  Currently, I do have a Toshiba DR430 DVD Recorder, that I use to record a DVD from a live signal. But the image quality isn’t that good, so I want to a upgrade.

  I thought about the JVC SR-HD2500US. It inputs a HD-SDI source, instead the composite input of the DR430. A great increase of quality. The JVC says it makes a downscale and then burns the DVD.

  My doubt: will this DVD take advantage of the DVD players that make upscale for 1080? Even the cheaper players do this upscale.

  If so, I would have a superb quality, much better than the current with the Toshiba.
