  BetaCam Transfers

  I have project to transfer a number of Beta original tapes to hard drive. I have Beta deck, but no way to transfer video to HDD (My HPz400 does not have video card). How can this be done? All suggestions welcome.

  You will need a card that can accept component analog signals from the Betacam deck. Black Magic Design and AJA both make good products for just this purpose.Just go to their respective web sites and check out their products. There are many more companies that make converters but these two are the most popular.
