    Hi all,

    I’m new to broadcasting.

I want to turn a live video studio into an IP source to the main office in another country, then the video will be broadcast through satellite channel.

    explain:
1- imagine i have a camera (cameras) in one location (as news reporter in a field)
2- i want to connect the camera to internet (it should have a fixed IP number – as i read) ???????
3- to stream a broadcast video quality to the uplink (satellite channel) in different country

What should i use as internet streamer (prefer a box, not computer)

    thanks in advance

There are several different IP contribution units that you could use. The Digigram AQORD *LINK would be perfect for this. Where are you located?

If you want to have several cameras without a local vision mixer and operator controlling the mixer, you could look into Riedel’s MediorNet solutions.

On second thought… For field-streaming, you should look into LiveU or Streambox. Digigram is really more for installation purposes or at least not in the field.

    thnx Aleksander,

i checked these products. they are great, but out of my budget.

i cant find any thing related to turn my camera to IP camera, most of them, the camera stream the video to a server (IP).

i’m looking for i solution as surveillance systems. that u have fixed IP on the camera and u access it from other location.

    thanx again

    and I’l keep digging 😉
