  Exported SCC time code discrapencies

  I am using Caption Maker and exported a test SCC file. But the time code that I have setup in Caption Maker are different from what is being exported in the SCC file, when I view it through notepad.

  I have read somewhere that the SCC timecode may not be exactly similar because of caption buffering etc. But I just want to make sure that is the case before I ship it off to my contact.

  This does not happen with all files, but enough to raise an eye brow.

  From memory, the SCC format has indeed a ‘display’ time flag.
  So, the TC and actual display time might differ.

  Aren’t you able to make a preview on a CC capable monitor?
