  Cue Tones

  Need help with setting up some cue tones for broadcast. I was instructed to create a station ID lasting 5 seconds containing a cue tone to trigger an affiliates signal. I usually export a quicktime from FCP which is later converted to mxf via episode. When I export out of FCP, it is with four channels of audio which is just the stereo tracks doubled up. I was told to remove the stereo mix from 3&4 and instead place the tone 2 seconds before the end of the element on track 3 or 4. My question is: what are the proper levels for the tone and is it a mono signal on one track or should it also be a stereo element on both 3 & 4? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
