  Hide warning display on Sony DXC-637

  Does anyone know if it’s possible to hide the warning display on a Sony DXC-637? I’m using a power supply and have no tape in and I get the flashing LOW BATT./NO TAPE warnings. Can I turn them off?

  I should add that I entered the advanced menu by holding UP while powering up, and there was an IND page (iris, gain, audio, etc) but it didn’t have an option for warnings. Is there a more advanced engineering menu?
