  Sony DFS-700 Switcher

  Hello,

  Hoping to find some help.. I have a Sony DFS-700 Switcher setup with 2 Sony DXC-D35K cameras connected.

  I am a computer person, not a video guy.. but this is my responsibility.

  A fellow employee decided to press buttons on the switcher and now a black screen appears on both the foreground and background when using the transition lever or auto trans.

  I can not get it to switch to camera view at all.

  Any suggestions or help?

  if the FTB fade to black button is pushed, you will get all black.

  Being a computer person, and not a video person, you should know very well that turning off the switcher (or the computer) and turning it back on, will restore the product to some default position, and not somewhere, where “all the buttons” were pushed.

  in other words – REBOOT.
