  MXF Conversion?

  Hello,

  This is the best place I can think of to ask this question: Can anyone advise me on how I can convert a mxf file to a different format?

  Having loads of problems with this.

  for what application –
  want to read MXF inside FCP or a MAC application ?

  Hey,

  You can use Metus Ingest for that kind of stuff. (https://www.metus.com/ingest/39/1.aspx)
  Metus Ingest has a feature called “Folder Watcher”. It converts videos (including mxf) to any other desired video formats such as DV, MPEG-2, MOV, etc. as soon as a file is dropped in this folder. Pretty cool

  You can ask for a demo version to test it.
