  Webcast – Camcorder Connectivity Issues

  I’ve been asked to do a very simple video webcast. Just one remote destination. Just one camera at the event.

  The trouble I’m having is connecting my Canon HF S11 to my MacBook Pro. The Canon has a number of output options inc. Composite, Component, USB and HDMI. My MacBook has Firewire and USB.

  Seen lots on the web about how easy this should be, but struggling with this connection.

  Any ideas please. Links to a specific cable/converter/adapter/blackbox….greatly appreciated
