“Dramatization” size and time
Putting together a 1 minute spot. The entire spot, an actor dressed as an actor talks to the audience about medical jumble.
Need to put up “Dramatization” at bottom of screen.
Two Questions:
How long does the word dramatization need appear on screen?
and
How big does the word have to be?
I am not even sure if there is such a rule, but I just want to make sure. This will be aired on a couple Chinese TV stations.

My rule of thumb for lower thirds is, you have to be able to read it all the way thru, twice, at a reasonable, normal speed.
Size wise, unlesss the lawyers gave you a size, I would use about 20-point or larger.

It’s up to you. How long do you want it to be? How big do you want it to be?
There are no rules or templates for it. Use the force. Throw it up when it fels right and take it down when it’s time. Five seconds is plenty…. or you can leave it for the duration of the reenactment.This is not unlike asking how your opening titlers should be. It’s up to you, man.

The rule may be LEGAL and not production. There are rules probably across most of the western world about labeling “reenactment” or “paid endorser” or “actor simulation” whatever. But the client should know (or it would be in their best interest to discover) whether there are any legal requirements about that where the spots will be broadcast.
What does an actor look like when dressed as an actor? :-))
