Help needed with correcting skin tones!!!
Hi
I shot a series of 12 short video clips on a bluescreen to be delivered as transparent files for the web.
All clips were shot in HDV captured in Adobe Premiere 1.5 and dropped directly into AE CS3 (30 day trial version) and keyed using keylight.
Even though the clips all look almost exactly the same when viewed in a calibrated external video monitor, applying the same set of filters at the same settings and in the same order has resulted in some very different outcomes on the skin tones- some washed out, some too yellow, some too pink etc etc.
In AE the subject looks hellishly red/purple when imported. I’ve had to increase the contrast as his black shirt looked a little fuzzy and used auto levels which look much better when blended to about 65%.
I know there is probably a lot more info needed to acurately diagnose this problem but i was kinda hoping someone might have a “one click” solution to colour tones, suggest a link to a (free) plug in or point me towards a post or tutorial or something.
Thanks in advance for any help:)
