Hi there, My name is Surender Bhardwaj, I ve Sony UVW 100P & DSR 45P. Now I want to record in DVCam format on my dsr 450p (since beta tapes are very expensive) from uvw 100p, its got 2 video outs. Just wanted to know are they both same or there is any diff. Or should I get rid of dsr 45p and buy used dsr 50p, then record on it with 26 pin cable in component I/O
    Please help me.
    Thankx a lot.

    Buy your self a secondhand
CCZkabel and build a BreakOut cable use the component signal
    to feed the DSR45

How about audio, Do I record that direct in the dsr 45p. If yes then there might be sync problem.

    Thanks a lot.

I find it hard to see
the picture is a bit of lowquality.
    but it seems the one
well i don’t know your shooting conditions
but you will always need a mixer in this setup. maybe the easyes way is to tape a XLRcable next to the component cable

    greet
    Maurice
